Learning Behaviours
The nature of difficulties varies.
Various assessments:
- • Phonological analysis screening
- • Nonverbal PTONI test (Pictorial Reasoning)
- • Strength And Difficulties Questionnaires
- • Concentration
When children struggle with learning, strategies need to be determined to support their communication style e.g. auditory, visual, kinaesthetic. Poor behaviour is often a reflection of failing to learn. Anxiety and low self-esteem is often the emotional fall-out, resulting in low resilience attracting bullies. On the contrary very intelligent children require extra stimulation and often social support.
